Attorney Beverly McNeill
Founder / Owner
Attorney Beverly McNeill was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida as a teenager. As the younger sibling to a sister who has special needs, Ms. McNeill was always watching over her older sister who has autism and is nonverbal. Therefore, from an early age, Ms. McNeill always had a special place in her heart for advocating for the disabled.
Ms. McNeill received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University. Then she received her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Upon graduation and passing the Florida Bar, Ms. McNeill worked for a law firm practicing criminal defense and family law. However, after opening The McNeill Firm, Ms. McNeill switched to advocating for claimants seeking their disability benefits, remembering that special place she has had in her heart from an early age.
In addition to having a passion for the law, Ms. McNeill has a strong passion to advocate for children in the community. She is a board member for Kids Demonstrating Worth, Inc. a nonprofit focusing on promoting a positive self-image, higher self-esteem, integrity, and strength of character among the youth by the performance of good works and demonstrating worthiness in the community. Ms. McNeill also has volunteered with the SOS Children’s Villages Florida which is a foster care community in Coconut Creek, FL.
Attorney McNeill, as the founder and managing partner of The McNeill Firm, primarily focuses her practice on Social Security Disability Law. She has the experience in successfully serving disability clients by filing initial Social Security Disability claims, appealing denials of initial decisions, appealing to the Social Security’s Appeals Council, and attending a fair amount of Social Security Disability hearings before an Administrative Law Judge.
Navigating Social Security & Disability Benefits
Ever wonder about the process of applying for social security supplemental income or social security disability?
Do you even qualify for disability benefits from social security? Or have you been denied social security benefits for whatever reason?
What an amazing experience I had with Attorney McNeill via phone on two different occasions. Attorney McNeil was thorough, transparent, and very detailed in explaining the process of a claim that I inquired about. When I spoke to Attorney McNeill during the 2nd phone call she had detailed notes from our previous call which was quite impressive. I highly recommend Attorney McNeill services to anyone that inquires.

Thank you Attorney McNeil for making this season of Disability a great experience. I was referred to you by my niece Kimberly Coward and just as she stated that you were very knowledgeable about SS Disability. Your strategy of attack was right on target and it only took one attempt before the Judge and it was very good. Thanks again and may God Bless You and Your Family richely.
